In electronics manufacturing, electrostatic discharge (ESD) can destroy sensitive components at very low voltage levels, often with no visible sign of damage until the product is tested or used. UQESH® IF-EC is an electrostatically conductive polyurethane floor system, engineered specifically for ESD-protected environments in electronics manufacturing and the chemical industry – the floor conducts static charge away before it can cause damage.
Standard epoxy generally lacks built-in ESD functionality and often requires special, more complex additives to become electrostatically conductive. UQESH® IF-EC is built for this from the ground up, as part of the same waterborne polyurethane system used in cleanrooms and highly sensitive production – making it possible to combine ESD protection with cleanroom rating and high load capacity in the same floor.
