UQESH® Bio-Based Polyurethane Coating

Renewable, Bio-Based and Safe

With a focus on safety, performance and reduced environmental impact, UQESH® develops high-performance materials based on renewable castor oil. We strive for a sustainable production chain by offering bio-based floor systems with extremely low emissions (VOC) designed to create safe and healthy indoor environments. This is especially critical for cleanroom flooring and food industry floor systems, where low emissions are a fundamental requirement.

Next-Generation Flooring Systems

Decoding the Truth

Many mistakenly believe that polyurethane mortar is nothing more than a physical mix of polyurethane resin and inorganic aggregate. Simple mixing only produces an unstable, inconsistent material prone to uneven performance, rapid aging and cracking over time.

UQESH is, by nature, a precision-engineered composite driven by simultaneous, multi-layered chemical reactions. The moment mixing and application begin, a precise chemical process is activated.

Four Simultaneous Chemical Reactions

Molecular structure

Organic Cross-Linking Reaction

Imported isocyanate (-NCO) chains rapidly cross-link with hydroxyl groups (-OH) in castor oil polyols, forming a robust 3D polyurethane network backbone.

Urea Bond Reinforcement Reaction

Partial isocyanate groups (-NCO) react with water to create polyurea structures with exceptional cohesive strength, dramatically increasing toughness, impact resistance and adhesion.

Inorganic Hydration Reaction

Specially reactive cement and other components hydrate simultaneously to form rigid silicate crystals, delivering ultra-high compressive strength and dimensional stability.

Gas Regulation Reaction

Carbon dioxide formed during the reactions is partially absorbed and converted by special additives, creating a denser, defect-free microstructure.

This synergistic multi-system reaction delivers a transformative leap in material performance.

01

Ultra-Durability

The organic–inorganic reinforcement technology combines polyurethane's high toughness and chemical resistance with the excellent mechanical strength of inorganic aggregate materials. The result is a highly wear-resistant and chemical-resistant floor system with a significantly longer service life than traditional floors and minimal maintenance needs throughout its use.

02

A Better Choice for the Environment

UQESH contains a high share of bio-based raw materials. Its long service life reduces both resource consumption and environmental impact.

03

Total Adaptability

Suitable for food production, electronics and pharmaceutical manufacturing, ultra-clean laboratories and other demanding environments.

Castor plant and castor oil

UQESH transforms flooring from a cold surface into a self-structuring, self-reinforcing organic unit at the microscale. We strengthen floors with technology – keeping them durable under heavy long-term loads and clean under harsh conditions, year after year
