Customer Case
A chemical- and UV-resistant thin-film system (0.18mm) that makes it fast and cost-effective to upgrade flooring in spaces that otherwise rarely get prioritised.
UQESH® TAP is a roller-applied thin-film system at 0.18mm that makes it fast and cost-effective to upgrade flooring in utility rooms, storage rooms, plant rooms, warehouse floors and balconies – spaces that often have plain concrete and rarely get prioritised during renovation. The system is built on UFlex® TAP 750, a chemical- and UV-resistant polyurethane mortar, which makes the floor suitable even for balconies and other surfaces exposed to sunlight and weather over time without discolouring. The system is also waterborne and odourless, has slip resistance rating R9–R10 (DIN 51130) and withstands environments from -20°C to 60°C as well as brief high-temperature steam rinsing. It is applied directly with a roller on top of pre-treated concrete, making it a faster alternative to thicker floor systems when the space doesn't require the same load capacity as industrial flooring.
UQESH® TAP represents a new generation of thin-film technology – the combination of roller-applied thin-film application, chemical resistance and UV resistance makes the system unique in the Swedish market, where there is currently no equivalent solution from other suppliers. Unlike traditional epoxy, which often yellows or chalks under prolonged UV exposure, UQESH® TAP retains its colour and surface over time even under continuous sun exposure on, for example, balconies.
